Natural & Homemade Pumpkin Pie Face Mask

Pumpkin is a wonderful holiday flavor and scent but is also very healthy for your skin. Combined with these other skin nourishing ingredients this pumpkin puree becomes a luxurious, soothing, face mask. This face mask is all natural, easy to make, and full of nutrition for your skin.

Pumpkin Puree- loaded with vitamin A, C, K and E, antioxidant carotenoids, alpha and beta-carotenes.

Cinnamon-a natural antibacterial, anti fungal, astringent, and anti-inflammatory.

Nutmeg- a gentle exfoliant that is a natural anti-inflammatory which helps diminish acne scars.

Honey- a natural humectant (attracts and retains moisture), antimicrobial, and antioxidant rich.

Plain yogurt- contains lactic acid which reduces discolorations, gently dissolves dead skin while moisturizing.

Directions:

1. In a small bowl combine 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree, 1 tablespoon of plain yogurt (I prefer Greek because it is thicker), 1 tablespoon honey, a dash of cinnamon, and a dash of nutmeg.

2. Spread on freshly washed skin, I prefer to exfoliate with baking soda BEFORE applying my mask.

3. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the delicious scent of your natural pumpkin pie face mask for about 20 minutes.

4. Gently rub off face in a circular motion with warm water.
